I've been out for a week, as those (both) of you who read here regularly have noticed. Here's a quick rundown of what's been going on that I'd blog about if I had the time or energy to comment on.

• Should the sale of realistic-looking toy guns be banned? - I told you this would happen.
• Some question value of proposal to ban toy guns - What about "cylindrical objects"?
• Gun culture seen at root of violence - Right. Bad people have nothing to do with it.
• Deputy charged with threatening colleague with gun - If only we could keep them harassing each other.
• Study Tracks Police Brutality Claims - I thought they were an elite class...
• Police Try to Halt More Soccer Violence - Maybe "soccer culture" is the root of violence.
